Corning phenolic style screw-caps are made from a heat-tolerant resin and are designed for applications where autoclaving is required.

All caps should be closed by gently compressing the inner liner for a leak resistant fit. Over-tightening may break the glass thread.

PYREX Code No. 7740 borosilicate glass comes closest to being the ideal glass for most laboratory applications.
