Hisport Temperature Sensor is manufactured in accordance with OEM specifications and high-quality material. All products abroad have undergone manual quality inspection to ensure the high-quality of appearance and function
The intake air temperature sensor is usually on the intake hose or the airflow sensor after the air filter. In the picture, mark 1 is a fastening screw, mark 2 is an intake air temperature sensor
The intake air temperature sensor uses a thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient as the detection element. In order to accurately measure the intake air temperature, a plastic case is usually used for protection to prevent the temperature of the installation site from affecting the working accuracy of the sensor.
The resistance of the thermistor decreases when the temperature increases, and increases when the temperature decreases
The engine control unit (ECU) provides a 5V reference voltage for the sensor 3 terminal, and the sensor 1 is grounded inside the ECU
1. Turn off the ignition switch, disconnect the intake air temperature sensor harness connector, and remove the intake air temperature sensor
2. Put the intake air temperature sensor into the water for heating
3. Use the resistance profile of a multimeter to measure the resistance between the two ends of the sensor
