Since this product shows water temperature by floating on the water or with water around the temperature probes. So if you would like it work under room temperature after using in ice bath, you had better dry the water around the probes with tissue or cloth.

Why we add this function for our ice bath thermometer?
Since this thermometer is powered by battery, so screen auto off when it is out of water may last longer time.
1) Under the room temperature mode, it will automatically shut down after waiting for 1min.
2) Under the water temperature mode, it will automatically shut down after leaving the water surface for 5s.
