How Engine Coolant Thermostat Works?
- The engine coolant thermostat controls the flow of coolant through the radiator to enable the engine to reach and maintain its normal operating temperature. The water inlet housing connects the radiator hoses to the thermostat.
- A sensor inside the thermostat will cause it to open to allowing coolant to flow to and from the radiator if the engine reaches to a certain temperature, to decrease the temperature, and ensure it be recirculated through the engine. By repeating such cycle to keep your car engine running under optimum temperature.
