Q1: Does the mac mini hub support video out and charging?

A1: No, the mac mini hub only supports data transfer.

Q2: What type of SSD does the product support?

A2: M.2 SSD (2242/2260/2280) that complies with M Key and B+M Key is required, without Heatsink. (SSD slot depth of the Hub is about 0.4CM (0.16 inches)

For example (several common ones)： SAMSUNG 980; WD_BLACK SN770; Crucial P3; TEAMGROUP MP33, etc.

Q3: Does it support PCIE 4.0 SSD? What is the maximum SSD storage capacity?

A3: The SSD of this Mac mini hub supports PCIE 4.0, but the maximum transfer rate can only reach 10Gbps. And this mac mini dock has SSD storage up to 2TB.

Q4: Why the hub cant support Apple USB SuperDrive?

A4: Because Apple USB SuperDrive consumes a lot of power, the hub wont provide enough power. It is recommended to connect to the Thunderbolt port on the computer itself.

Q5: When inserting the SSD, it automatically disconnected, what should I do?

A5 : Note: If it is a new SSD card, it needs to be formatted first.
