Description

Dow Corning 733 Glass & Metal Sealant is a one-component sealant that cures at room temperature when exposed to moisture in the air. The product transforms from a non-sag paste into a strong flexible rubber. Dow Corning 733 Glass & Metal Sealant is able to maintain flexibility and strength in extreme temperatures ranging from -57°C to 177°C (-70 to 350°F) along with short peaks of up to 204°C (400°F). Dow Corning 733 Glass & Metal Sealant has a good resistance to weathering, vibration, moisture, ozone, and extreme temperatures. The product is used in OEM bonding for appliances, heavy equipment, marine equipment, and recreational vehicles. The ability to not flow provides ease with overhead and sidewall applications. Cure time takes 24 hours, under room temperature at 50% relative humidity, to cure 3mm below the surface. This product is recognized under UL 94 HB, complies with the FDA, and follows regulation 177.2600 under the FDA. When stored at 32°C (90°F) the products shelf life is 900 days from the date of its manufacture.
