●BETTER LEATHER: These German-made finger guards are the best we’ve found. Made of .80 mm suede leather, they are thick enough to offer good protection against accidental pokes but soft enough to still be comfortable to wear while you’re crafting and give you a good range of motion.
●PROTECT YOUR FINGERS: Needle Felting can mean accidental pokes to your fingers, especially when you’re learning. Those pokes hurt! Instead of getting discouraged, keep your fingers safe and give yourself some peace of mind with these high quality thimbles.
●VERSATILE: Use these finger guards for other types of crafting, sewing, knitting and needlework that are hard on your fingers. They have all kinds of uses to keep you going on your favorite projects. You can skip the bandages and blisters when you have these on from the get-go.
●SIZING: One size fits most adults. Thumb: 1 1/4 x 2 3/8 inches. Index: 1 1/8 x 2 1/4 inches. Color and size can vary slightly.

Our Story

Felted Skys owner/artist Elizabeth Whitton started needle felting in 2011 and fell in love with it. She quickly realized she had a knack for designing felted decorations and that she was also good at teaching other people how to make them. That is how our first kits came to be. Felted Sky was launched on Etsy in 2013 and grew from there. Ten years later it is now our family business that we work full time with a small but dedicated team. Were committed to bringing you the best needle felting kits and supplies so that you can be successful from the get-go and enjoy felting to the fullest!

Having the right supplies makes all the difference.

Invest in a Long Lasting Work Surface

Most needle felting projects require a special work surface. There are a range of options from different types of foam blocks to rice-filled burlap pillows. Our wool mat is extra big and thick and will last a really really long time. Perfect for any type of needle felting you want to do.

Protect your Fingers

Pokes hurt! Accidentally stabbing yourself with the felting needle is a common occurrence especially when youre learning to felt. We recommend using finger guards for some extra protection.

Have Plenty of Needles on Hand

Felting needles can bend and break easily. They are made for the manufacture of nonwoven fabrics and materials so they dont always hold up well when we use them for making all sorts of art. We recommend having extra needles so you can keep right on felting if you bend or break one in the middle of a project.
