What youre gonna get：

1 x RV water heater tank rinser

2 x RV water heater anode rods

1 x Teflon tape

Usage:

1. Turn off the power to the water heater

For safety, always make sure the water pump, gas supply and water heater power are completely turned off

2.Remove the old anode rod

Use a 1-1/16-inch socket wrench to remove the old anode rod

3. Flush the water heater sediment at the bottom of the tank.

Flush out any sediment from the bottom of the tank. Then fill the tank slightly and let all the water run out, repeating several times.

4. Installation of new anode rods

Use PTFE sealant tape wrapped around the flushing rod swivel port and the top of the anode rod nut and tighten with a socket wrench.

Notes:

1.Always remember to turn off the water heater to allow the water to cool and release tank pressure before performing maintenance

2.If the caravan is not in use, the water in the tank should be drained, which can extend the life of the anode rod to a certain extent

3.When installing the anode rod, you should use PTFE sealant tape wrapped around the flushing rod swivel port and the top of the anode rod nut to make it tighter

4.For the safety of your water and your familys water, it is recommended that the anode rod be replaced every 6 months.
