Bolts are designed for easy installation and removal, have 1/4"-20 thread and a built-in captured washer. Nuts have built-in serrations which prevent loosening. Body bolts are commonly used to fasten body panels and side skirts for easy removal but may be used anywhere a bolt with a captured washer is needed.
