How to Care for your Banneton?

By following these simple steps, your banneton will stay in good condition:

  1. Use generous amounts of flour to dust the inside of your banneton before transferring the dough into the basket. If you use our liner, there is no need to dust it with flour(After each use just simply dry it out and clean the remaining flour off its surface).
  2. After each use, remove any remaining flour or dough from the basket. Use a soft brush to gently remove any stuck-on dough.
  3. Let the basket air dry completely before storing it.
  4. Once the basket is dry, store it in a dry and well-ventilated area.
