Warm tips

  1. Frozen meat pie a while first will help to fill better without breaking the empanada skin.
  2. You can flour the empanada mold so that pasties do not stick to the mold when trying to release them.
  3. Make sure your dough is flexible enough to expand when closed and DONT overfill each pocket
  4. The dough should not be too thin, otherwise, the skin will break.
