Thanks for our customers patience. We heard you, and thanks to your feedback we figured out the critical part that stops the tapping head from working. It is the back jaw of the taper holding the taps. As a result, our manufacturer and we improved the self-reversing tapping heads design and enhanced the back jaws quality. Although the number of complaints has dropped significantly due to the improved quality, we still recommend that you get an additional jaw as a backup. It will further improve the tool life and save you time. We also need to remind you that please do not use the tapping heads as drill chucks.


The back jaw is the most vulnerable part of the tapping head. Each time the tapping head stops working or becomes defective, it is due to the back jaw that is damaged. Although we have enhanced the design by improving its rigidity, we still recommend that you get the spare part as a backup. It improves the tool life and saves your time.	Within ±0.004. Chatter-free clutch has positive engagement which allows for a smoother, more accurate operation and more rapid reversal.	Radial Float is self-centering to compensate for hole center misalignment. Unique Double Spring mechanism produces automatic feed and cushion drive. There are 2 springs for the feed and 2 springs for the reversal.
