Note:
- The cast iron roti Tawa comes pre-seasoned by factory. For the better seasoning become, we recommend you reseason it before first use and maintain after each use.
How to Clean:
Wash with hot water, Dry, Scott towel with cooking oil and wipe all over it.
How to Season a Pan
1. Thoroughly wash your new cast iron pan in hot water.
2. Place the pan in your preheated oven for a few minutes before continuing to make sure that it is completely dry.
3. Coat the grill/griddle with grease or oil. (Do this with the whole pan, not just the cooking surface, to reduce the possibility of external rust.)
4. Bake your pan in a 350 degrees oven for an hour.
5. Let the pan cool, and wipe off any excess oil.
For best results, do this two or three times, though the Tawa can be satisfactory after a single treatment.
