The Birth of Sowan

On June 14, 2010, SOWANs representatives daughter, SOWA, was born, marking the birth of the brand "SOWAN" as well.

We chose the name "SOWAN" with the same heartfelt wishes a parent has for their childs health, extending those wishes to everyone involved with SOWAN.

As we approach our 10th anniversary on June 14, 2020, we aim to remain a comforting presence, warming the hearts of all.

Our collection features a variety of products crafted from silk, cotton, wool, and other natural materials.

Introduction of Craftsmen

A master craftsman with about 50 years of experience in the field of belly rolls creates all our products.

They are crafted by skilled hands of Japanese artisans.

Among these, belly rolls are meticulously crafted by a skilled artisan residing deep in the mountains of Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture Japan.

The products are knitted by a craftsman who has been perfecting the art of belly rolls for half a century in the same mountains.

He possesses an innate craftsmanship and relies heavily on his intuition and feel. Our belly rolls are crafted by such artisans using traditional knitting machines, imbuing them with a warmth that comes from both the craftsmanship and the legacy of these old machines.
