Step 1: Begin by cleaning the headlight lens with water. To prevent scratching the nearby painted surface, cover the surrounding area of the lens.
Step 2: Clean the headlight once again with water. Then, apply masking tape around the lens to protect the cars paint. Attach a disc to the grinding tool. If you have an electric polishing machine, use it for the polishing process; otherwise, you can do it manually. Start by using sandpaper, progressing from coarse (P800) to medium (P1200), and finally to fine (P2000). Continue grinding until the oxidation on the headlight surface is completely removed and the surface is shiny. Please note that some internal yellowing on the headlight may not be resolved with this procedure.
Step 3: Switch to a yellow sponge and apply the blue-bagged scratch repair and polishing liquid. Polish the headlight for approximately 5 minutes. Continue this process until no visible signs of polishing remain on the headlight.
Step 4: Drip 5-10 drops of the protective liquid onto a cleaning cloth. Apply the liquid alternately in horizontal and vertical directions on the headlight lens, ensuring even coverage. Allow the liquid to sit for 3-5 minutes, then wipe off any excess. To complete the curing process, wait for 24 hours, or as an alternative, use a hairdryer for 1-2 minutes. Please keep the lens dry and avoid washing the car within the next 24 hours.
