How to Install Your Urethane Band Saw Tires
1. First, you must make sure to unplug the band saw when replacing any parts or repairs.
2. Urethane band saw tires don’t require adhesives, but need to be stretched to a suitable range.
3. You need to remove the old tires and remove any dirt or residue from the machine.
4. If you cannot stretch the tire by hand to install the tire, you can use a clamp to fix the tire on one place on the wheel, and then use a screwdriver to pry the rest of the tire away. Once the tire is firmly fixed on the wheel, it needs to be stretched smoothly.
5. After fixing, use a pin between the tire and the wheel to roll it around the entire wheel to ensure that the tire is properly fixed in the groove on the wheel. You can start working!
