Is the drain pipe adapter made of ABS or PVC?

This model is made of ABS material

You can order components in ABS or PVC, depending on the waste material of the bathtub bottom.

Why cant cut brass pipe?

If you cut a brass pipe the cut may be uneven and the sharp edges may tear the poly gasket, causing it to become unsealed and leak.

How to remove the center tab with channel locks?

You can use pliers to hold the tab in the middle, shake it a bit and then pull it out firmly. .

What could be causing the water leak above the floor?

1. Is the poly gasket placed horizontally and sealed?

2. Is the brass pipe installed correctly and kept straight?

What could be causing the water leak inside the floor?

1. Is the valve free of damage or cracks?

2. Is the diameter of P-Trap 2" or 1½"? Should I use the included 2" to 1½" drainage adapter?
