  1. Assemble the Ball Joint Press over the control arm.
  2. Position the correct size Receiving Tube under the ball joint.
  3. Insert the Removal Adapter between the Receiving Tube and the Jackscrew.
  4. Place the Installation Adapter between the top of the ball joint and the Ball Joint Press.
  5. Tighten the Jackscrew until the Receiving Tube contacts the control arm.
  6. Check alignment of all parts.
  7. Continue tightening the Jackscrew to remove the ball joint.

  1. Clean and lubricate the inside diameter of the control arm.
  2. Insert the replacement ball joint straight into the control arm.
  3. Assemble the Ball Joint Press over the control arm.
  4. Position the correct size Receiving Tube on top of the control arm.
  5. Place the Installation Adapter between the Receiving Tube and the Ball Joint Press.
  6. Insert the Removal Adapter between the ball joint and the Jackscrew.
  7. Check the alignment of all the Ball Joint Kit parts.
  8. Tighten the Jackscrew until the vehicles ball joint is removed.

  1. Remove all lock ring retainers from the Brake Anchor Pins.
  2. Position the Ball Joint Press over the brake spider.
  3. Tighten the Jackscrew until the anchor pins can be removed.

To install the brake anchor pins:

  1. Insert the brake anchor pins.
  2. Reinstall the lock ring retainers on the brake anchor pin.

To complete the process:

  1. Unscrew and remove the Ball Joint Press.
