The VVB docking station compatible only with Thunderbolt (3/4) ports or full-featured USB-C (supports display, charging, and data transfer protocols) ports.
1: Please make sure your device has thunderbolt 3/4 /USB C 3.1 GEN2 or above ports that support "Power Delwerys, DisplayPort , Alt Mode", full-featured USB C ports that support display, charging and data transfer protocols. If after your purchase you find that you are unable to use the screen extension feature, please check if your laptops USB C port supports the features described above.
If you are not sure, you can check with VVB.
2: The docking station does not include a charger or any additional cables !!!
3: MacBook does not support MST (Expanded Mode) / (does not support A-B-C), and only supports SST Mode (Mirror Mode) / (only supports A-B-B or A-A-A-A), which means that all external displays of MacBook will show the same picture when using this docking station !!!
4: The screen resolution will only be optimal if your laptop is a DP1.4 source, and please make sure your device supports 4K display (external screen and laptop at the same time) as well as working with HDMI 2.0 or higher specification cables.
5: The PD (charging port) of the laptop docking station only supports power supply and does not support the screen expansion function.
6: If you want to realize fast charging, please use 65W and above power supply.
7: For some laptops, please check with VVB if the PD port cannot be charged.
8: The thinkpad docking station will need 7-8W of power consumption for the other ports of the hub to work properly. So its best to keep the usb c docking station in charging state, so that the usb c dongle can work better. If there is a slow charging warning, you can ignore it.
