This is a baetis imitation developed by Spencer Higa. It is a guides favorite as it is a very productive fly. It’s irresistible to many fish such as trout and pan fish. When you don’t know what to fish, tie on one of these as a top nymph or a bottom nymph.

It is a great fly because it gets deep with its tungsten bead and will have a great hook set because of the curved hook. Try this fly out and you will be hooked.
