The Ashford Jumbo Double Drive Slidding Hook Flyer Unit fits Ashford Traditional, Traveller and Elizabeth double drive wheels. Fill your bobbins evenly with the squeeze-and-slide stainless steel hook. Fibereglass arms make these flyers light and strong. The yarn is controlled in the hook as you spin. Its great for spinning bulky yarns, plying thick yarns, or spinning large quantities of yarns. It Includes the Jumbo double drive flyer with 3 speed pulley, 1 jumbo double drive bobbin, 2 slidding hooks, front jumbo flyer bearing, bearing reducer bushing, orifice reducer bushing, drive band, brake band, threading hook and instructions. This unit requires replacing the original front bearing with the jumbo front bearing included in the kit. Jumbo bearing inside diameter is 3/4 inch (19mm). The Bearing reducer bushing allows you to easily switch between your standard flyer and your jumbo flyer. Orifice reducer bushing allows for finer spinning. Orifice bushing 3/8 inch (10mm) ID. Slidding Hooks have nylon yarn guides 1/2 inch ID. Flyer and bobbin are unvarnished.

Traditional ratios: 4.5, 5.3, and 6.0 to 1.
Traveller ratios: 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 to 1.
Elizabeth ratios: 5.0, 5.5, and 6.5 to 1.
