Feature

●【Standard Specifications】: OEC-T5 specifications, EL-50448 measures approximately 6.1 x 2.4 x 1.4 inches and is comfortable to hold. It uses a 9V battery and has an operating temperature of -20~80°C. With it, individuals can easily complete the relearning of the vehicle pressure sensor, which can greatly save time and money on trips to the auto store.
●【Activation Reset Function】: This is a must-have learning tool for replacing tire pressure sensors, removing tire pressure alarms or replacing tires. With a powerful activation reset function, quickly and easily reset your tire pressure sensor to keep your vehicles tire pressure monitoring system operating optimally.
●【Vehicle Universal】: Our activation tool is universal for most cars on the market, such as sedan, SUV, pickup truck, etc., not for large trucks. Please check the specifications of the reset tool before you buy to make sure it fits your vehicle. (Different vehicles may take different amounts of time to reset all tire sensors after rotation.)
●【Easy to Use】: Make sure your vehicle is in learning mode and follow the maintenance procedures. Place the tool firmly against the tire sidewall, near the valve stem. While holding the tool against the tire sidewall, press the learn button. (Note: Make sure the battery is in good condition and the antenna is in the correct position when using)
●【Reliable Material】: The shell is made of ABS plastic, solid and durable, effective against dust and splashing water drops. Wear-resistant, easy to use for a long time and protect the internal electronic components. Responsive and powerful performance, can activate the tire pressure sensor quickly and accurately within 1-2 minutes.

Description

Specifications:

Material: ABS

Color: Orange + Black

Size: 6.1 x 2.4 x 1.4 Inches

Package Include: 1 x Relearn Tool for Auto Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor

The sensor re-read-in read-in procedure must be executed after each tire change, body control module replacement, or sensor replacement. Once the reread mode is enabled, the identification code for each sensor will be read into the body control module memory. When a sensor identification code is read, the body control module causes the horn to chirp to indicate that the sensor has sent an identification code and that it has been received and read by the body control module. The body control module must read the sensor identifiers in the correct order to determine the correct sensor location.

▲The first code read is assigned to the left front position, the second to the right front position, the third to the right rear position and the fourth to the left rear position. The turn signal lights will illuminate separately to indicate the correct order of the read positions.

①Use the EL-50448 or equivalent to diagnose sensor function

Each sensor has an internal low frequency coil. When tire pressure monitoring is used in enable mode, a low frequency transmission signal will be generated to activate the sensor. In read-in mode, the sensor responds to the low-frequency activation by transmitting the signal. In Tire Pressure Monitor Read-In Mode, when the Body Control Module receives a Read-In Mode transmission signal, it assigns the sensor identification code to the vehicle location corresponding to its read-in sequence.

②Sensor Function - Using the Pressure Increase/Decrease Method

In standstill mode, each sensor takes a pressure measurement sample every 30 seconds. If tire pressure increases or decreases by more than 8.3 kPa (1.2 psi) from the last measurement, a re-measurement will be taken immediately to confirm the pressure change value. If a
