FinderTags Working principle FinderTags are small discs that can be tracked via your iPhone or iPad. FinderTag emits a Bluetooth signal that privately and securely connects to any device in the Find My network, and then its location is triangulated by its connections and sent back to your iPhone. For instance, your dog with a FinderTag inside is having fun in park, The FinderTag will connect to any nearby iPhones(33ft/10m) of others or yours, and the location will be beamed back to your iPhone in the Find My app.

Activate an FinderTag Before activating an FinderTag, double-check the following settings in your iPhone: ✔It’s running iOS 14.0 or later; ✔Location services are turned on; ✔Find My is turned on; ✔Bluetooth is turned on.
FinderTag’s Range FinderTags need to be within about 33 feet(10m) of an iPhone or other device(whether its your own or someone elses) in the Find My network for its Bluetooth signal to register.
