Feature

●Aftermarket helmet visor for K1 S / K3 SV/K-5 S helmets.
●Photochromic shields will turn dark in sunlight and become clear(or almost entirely clear) again when indoors. This is the result of chemical responses to the presence (and absence) of ultraviolet light.
●Photochromic shields are known to darken more quickly than they lighten and the speed it takes is slightly temperature dependent too. If it’s a really bright and sunny day, they’ll typically reach max darkness in about 20s. Full activation will be in 2 minutes.
●UV Protection: Blocks 99% of UVA and UVB rays. Impact resistant.
●Photochromic performance is influenced by temperature, UV exposure and riding posture. PLEASE NOTE!

Description

What is Photochromic Visor? 1. The photochromic visor automatically darkens depending on the intensity of sunlight (= UV light). This makes both possible to ride in cloudy weather, in bright sunlight and in the dark without changing your visor. 2. The “photochromic” reduces 99% of the UV rays that are equally harmful to eyes and skin. This visor makes it kind of a variable sunscreen for the eyes. 3. How fast this can be done also depends on the temperature, since the warmer it is, the faster the molecules can move and thus change. In good weather it only takes about 40 seconds from very clear to a maximum tint.
