Turntable Strobe Disc
A stroboscope is an acrylic disc used to measure turntable rotational speed. This works with alternating current (AC) lighting because the light flashes depending on the power mains frequency (50 or 60Hz), and the pattern of bars on the stroboscope disc appears to be stationary when the turntable speed matches the speed printed on the stroboscope. A stroboscope does not work with direct current (DC) lighting or with sunlight.
-Accurately adjust and monitor the speed of your turntable to 33-1/3, 45 and 78rpm.
-Designed for use in artificial light, the discs pattern will appear to be static when the turntables speed is correct (because of the 50Hz/60Hz mains frequency).
--All you need to do it place the disc on your platter, turn on your light and then adjust your turntables speed control until the pattern on the disc doesnt move. (See video instruction above).
