Feature(may vary by option.)

●GIVE SLACK EFFICIENTLY: With the NEOX, leave short roping behind. The stainless steel wheel rotates freely when giving or taking slack. When the rope is weighted, the wheel stops, and the cam engages to block the rope.
●REDUCE BRAKE-HAND FATIGUE: The NEOX assists the belayer when catching a fall. When the system is weighted, an internal cam pivots and blocks the rope. The spring-loaded cam clamps down regardless of the brake strand angle
●DESCENT CONTROL W/ 3:1 MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE: The ergonomic handle allows for easy lowering. A 3:1 mechanical advantage enables a smooth and progressive descent, creating a more enjoyable experience for both the belayer and climber.
●TWIST-LOCK: Automatic locking, optimal for connecting lanyards and connecting a NEOX to the harness.
●LIGHTWEIGHT PERFORMANCE: D-shape is functional regardless of orientation, meeting multiple uses: attachment of a belay system, a pulley, or on the end of a lanyard. Light enough for mountains, durable enough for the crag.

Description

Take your belay game to the next level. PETZL NEOX is an assisted blocking belay device for the gym and the crag. Ideal for lead climbing, it has an integrated wheel that allows you to smoothly and quickly pay out slack to the climber. Its ergonomic handle provides comfortable descent control. It can be used with single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm. Sm’D is a D-shaped locking carabiner that is lightweight, compact, and can be used in numerous climbing situations; it is easy to manipulate, even when wearing gloves, and is available in three locking system versions: SCREW-LOCK, TWIST-LOCK, and TRIACT-LOCK. SCREW-LOCK features a red band provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked. This system is suitable for harsh environments where contaminants (mud, ice) could cause an automatic locking system to jam. TWIST-LOCK and TRIACT-LOCK offer quick opening for use at the end of a lanyard or connecting a GRIGRI to the harness.
