Do I need a gateway device to use this lock? Is the lock compatible with Alexa?

The door lock lets you control your door locally without a gateway. If you are away from home, you need to buy a Ghome Smart gateway to remotely control. GHome smart lock does not support voice control and cann‘t work with Alexa Google.

The smart lock cannot recognize my fingerprint well?

Dont use wet sticky or unclean fingers, it will be hard to unlock the door. Try to touch the center of the fingerprint screen forcefully for fingerprint enrollment, expand the touch area and place your fingers at multiple angles.

What if the battery died? Why cant I charge it?

The smart door knob built in rechargeable battery，you can power it with Type C port, or unlock with the mechanical keys came with the lock from outside. Please use USB-A一Type-C cable for charging or emergency power supply (not Type-C一Type-C cable).

What if offline or the app cannot connect smart door knob? Why Bluetooth unlocking failed?

Please reset the lock. The Bluetooth signal of the mobile phone should be within 16ft of the door lock and no obstruction. Bluetooth connection means you cannot lock and unlock while you are away. you need to buy a gateway to control it remotely.

How to reset? Missing parts? Number of keys?

Please long press the setting button until you hear a beep, the light flash green, then touch the door with fingerprints and reconnect. Please find us and we will send replacements. 2 backup keys.
