Always choose a router bit with a longer cutting edge than the workpiece. For example, use a tool with 1-inch cutting edge length when milling grooves of 1/2-inch depth. (It is NOT recommended that the cutting edge length equal to or less than 1/2-inch).
The tool shank should have good contact with the chuck, and the tool shank must be fully inserted into the chuck and tightened to provide sufficient tightening force to the tool. Do not insert only a small part into the collet or the shank will easily break.
Carbide tip with sharp cutting edge and high hardness, makes smooth and clean surface. Used to cut 45 degree chamfers on edges of work pieces.
Processed by spray-painting technology for elegant appearance, rust prevention and corrosion resistance. Good replacement bit tool for woodworking carpenter.
Hardened steel body with anti-kickback design. Round shank is heat-treated for hardness and rigidity. Can be used with wide varieties of tool holding systems.
Can produce smooth surfaces on hardwood, softwood, plywood and other woods. Avoid processing metal materials such as copper and iron and non-wood materials such as sand and stone..
The tool shank should be installed with a clamping depth of at least 1-inch to maintain the proper pressure carrying range. The larger the tool diameter, the smaller the spindle speed should be.
Suitable for trimmer, hand router, table router and woodworking engraving machines. Cannot be used with equipment such as electric drills, drill presses, etc.
Be sure to use the right size chuck. If the chuck is severely worn, not round enough, and has a taper in the hole, it will not provide enough clamping force and cause vibration or the tool shank will break and fly out.
New chucks are not always safe and secure. When the tool holder has uneven contact marks or grooves after clamping, it means that there is slippage and the inner diameter of the chuck changes. The chuck should be replaced immediately to avoid accidents.
After the tool is clamped, if it is found that the tool jumps during work, it should be stopped immediately and repeatedly clamped several times to make the tool shank fully contact with the chuck before working.
Use proper eye and ear protection when operating. Body, clothing and other debris should not be near work tools.
