[Poly-On-Steel Wheels]

Description

The Vestil DBT steel drum truck has a Y-shaped handle, a steel frame, an adjustable chime hook, and two wheels and can be used to transport a 30- or 55-gallon drum or a 24- to 48-inch-high barrel. The drum cart is made of steel, which is stronger and more durable than aluminum. The Y-shaped handle enables the user to control and maneuver the drum truck using two hands. An adjustable chime hook helps secure the drum. A kickstand supports this dolly and holds it upright at a tilt when parked. This product has a load capacity of 800 pounds, weighs 60 pounds, and measures 60 x 24-1/2 inches (H x W). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right.) The wheels measure 2 inches wide and 12 inches in diameter. This drum truck is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.

Hand trucks, also known as two-wheeled dollies, are used to transport heavy or bulky items, especially in commercial product distribution and delivery. Hand trucks are L-shaped, with handles at the top, two wheels at the bottom, and a small platform that touches the ground when the truck is upright. A load is placed on the platform and the truck is leaned back, balancing the weight over the wheels. Powered hand trucks have a platform that lifts the load up, or lowers it down, to reduce human labor. Some hand trucks may be convertible to platform trucks for moving large or cumbersome loads. Others fold flat for storage.

Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Angola, IN.
